4. Leafy Seadragon: Found in the southern and western coasts of Australia, these marine fish belong to the Syngnathidae family alongside pipefish and seahorses. Their name derives from their leaf-life appearance which provides excellent camouflage underwater.
5. Aye-Aye: Only found in Madagascar, this rare animal may resemble a bat or a mouse but they are actually related to primates such as apes, chimpanzees, and even humans! Perhaps that’s why some people are disturbed by these big eyed and slender-fingered creatures.
